RBCC appeals against bandh from Jan 17-20

The 5th Women Conference of Rongmei Baptist Churches Council (RBCC) is scheduled to be held at Gaidimjang, Khoupum in Noney district from January 17 to 20 .
Thousands of women delegates from Rongmei Churches in Assam, Nagaland and Manipur, affiliated to RBCC, will be participating in the Conference, which will be held on the theme of "Godly woman in the changing world" .
Various speakers who are filled with the passion for love and discipleship of the believers will be delivering gospel messages to the women, most of whom are overseeing their families in this changing world.
In this regard, Conference Media Committee chairman Adim Kamei has appealed to various organisations both in the hills and valley of Manipur as well as in other states to refrain from resorting to calling bandh and blockade during this period to facilitate smooth movement of the delegates and successful conduct of the conference.
Meanwhile, under the theme of 'Re-Reach the Reached; No Child Left Out', the 37th Children's Day programme of Rongmei Baptist Churches Council (RBCC) was widely celebrated in Noney and Tamenglong districts on Sunday.
The programme was celebrated in all the churches and fellowships affiliated to RBCC, in Manipur and Assam.
As part of the celebration, Group or House wise competitions in Group Song, Quartet, Solo, Action Song, Choreography, Melodrama, Spelling Bee, Bible Recitation, etc., were conducted.
Later, prizes and meritorious awards were distributed to the outstanding students.
