3rd MNCA U-14 Boys' Cricket Tournament : KSDO crush CYSA by 251 runs for fourth win on trot

KSDO, Kyamgei cruised to their fourth straight Group C victories in the ongoing 3rd MNCA U-14 Boys Tournament with a commanding 251-run victory over CYSA, Khangabok today at PTRC ground.
KSDO won the toss and erected a massive total of 288 runs for 7 wickets in allotted 30 overs courtesy half centuries from Md Abu Sufiyan and Kh Firdos after electing to bat first.
Both Abu Sufiyana and Kh Firdos then led in dismantling CYSA for a meagre total of 37 runs within 13 overs by sharing 7 wickets between them.
Abu Sufiyan struck 15 fours on the way to his 72-ball 29 while Kh Firdos struck 7 fours and 5 sixes on the way to his 42-ball 65 .
Md Zuneid Khan 22 not out and Md Gunbas 20 also contributed well to help KSDO post 288/7 as Moirangthem Sanathoi (2/61) picked two wickets for CYSA.
In reply, CYSA looked never comfortable from the beginning and bundled out for the meagre total as Md Shadik Israak Hussain, Kh Firdos and Md Abu Sufiyan bowled exceptionally well.
CYSA were reduced to 13/ 4 in 5 overs as Md Shadik Israak Hussain removed three batters to return with 3/13 in 4 overs.
Kh Firdos who found his breakthrough in bowling out N Abuncha on duck for the third wicket then swept the fifth and the sixth wickets to complete his treble (3/5) in his spell of five over before Md Abu Sufiyan ran through the tailenders with ease to return with the best bowling figures of (4/19 in 4 overs) .
In the group A match staged at Luwangpokpa Cricket stadium, AMCA defeated NCA Nambol by 6 wickets for the third win in four matches.
AMCA bowled out NCA for 146 runs in 26.3 overs courtesy Anish who enjoyed a five-for (5/26) and Yakil (3/ 24) before Imran 28, Yakil 29 not out and Mehbuk 24 not out steered AMCA to winning 150 in 22.4 overs.
At THAU ground, SCCC sealed second group B win in three matches by chasing down a target of 110 runs set up LCC in 24.3 overs.
Tomthinganba picked seven wickets for 22 runs to restrict LCC, Lamshang for the meagre total before Ranjan Moirengjam 27, Tomthinganba 25, and Sairem Boinao 22 lifted SCCC to winning 111 in just 10 overs with 7 wickets left to spare.
At Kongba Khunou Dhobi Lampak, KASC, Khomidok thumped LOTUS, Kiyanglam by 6 wickets for the second Group D win in three matches.
Md Ruhal (3/10), Mehetab (3/21) and L Maqubul Fida Ali (2/6) led KASC in bundling out LOTUS for 62 runs in 19.3 overs before Md Sakib Hussain 17 and Mujamin 12 powered KASC to the target in 8 overs at the cost of four wickets.
