YWC, ESU romp in U-17KIG Football League

Young Welfare Club and Eastern Sporting Union made light work of their opponents in the Under-17 Khelo India Girls' Football League 2023-24 at Artificial Turf Ground, Lamlong Thongkhong on Wednesday.
Young Welfare Club pummelled Khuman FA 19-0.Both Loukrakpam Seityamala Devi (6,11,15,20, 30, 57) and Sorokhaibam Lakhipiyari Devi (29, 45, 66, 67, 68, 72) made the most of the rout, scoring six goals each.
Oinam Olivia Chanu (17, 24, 28, 35) also played a significant role in their massive victory by contributing 4 goals while Chingakham Alina (4(P), 49) netted a double, and Wairokpam Daina Chanu (80+1) added one.
Eastern Sporting Union, on the other hand, romped past ICSA 15-1 as Chingsubam Christina (3, 17, 32, 71, 73) led the scoring with five goals, while Naorem Henarita Devi (4, 15, 20, 33) and Yumlembam Bidy-angambi Devi (22, 39, 55, 62) contributed four goals each, with Kongkham Priyangka (45) and Chandam Anjali Devi (51) colleting one each.
ICSA got their consolation goal through Laishram Rani Devi (35) .
