AKSDO, Al-Ameen stretch winning run to three games

AKSDO, Khangabok and Al-Ameen, Lilong sealed their third straight victories in the ongoing 2nd MNCA U-19 Men's Tournament today as CRAU, Khamnam Bazar and TCMDC, Thongju eased to second straight victories.
At Model Hr Sec and Oriental College Ground, ESU were bundled out for 117 runs in 33.4 overs by AKSDO who eased to winning 119 in 23.5 overs with five wickets left to spare courtesy Akash Laishram 39 and Winchelly Laishram 27 .
S Ronal topscored for ESU with a 87-ball 49 in their innings which saw Sanayai (3/11), S Lanchenba (2/17) and L Akash (2/10) of AKSDO sharing 7 crucial wickets.
Al-Ameen in the meantime registered an 18 run victory over TRAU at Lairenjam Public Ground for the third Group D win.
Al-Ameen were dismissed for 87 runs in 14.5 overs after being put in to bat first by TRAU riding on Subham Raut (4/20) and Preethson Arubam (3/27) but they successfully defended their total by bowling out TRAU for 69 runs in 25.3 overs with the help of concerted bowling effort.
Md Sagir Ahamed was the highest run getter of the match registering 48 runs for Al-Ameen before Md Ziour Rahman (3/21) and Md Sagir Ahmed (2/20) played their part too well.
The day also saw CRAU pull off a 33 run win over CYCLONE, Thangmeiband at Moijing Public Ground.
CRAU were bowled out for 93 runs with Shinoj Kh (3/12) and Aribatn Ronald Sharma (3/21) leading the CYCLONE bowling attack but they slumped to 60 all out as H Joyhenba (4/16), Boocker Kangjam (3/20) and Kh Lohitsun (2/13) produced impeccable bowling performances for CRAU.
At Khangabok Cherapur Public Ground, TCMDC registered a 9 wicket win by chasing cruising to winning 54 in 5.5 overs riding on L Vivekananda's unbeaten 33 after bundling out YPHUC for 52 runs in 16.3 overs courtesy L Valindra (4/8) and Ringku Kangujam (3/6) .
