PMNRF provides ₹3 lakh for cancer treatment

Union Minister of State for Education and External Affairs Dr RK Ranjan has secured a grant of Rs 3 lakh from the Prime Minister's National Relief Fund (PMNRF) to aid in the cancer treatment of one Swasteeka Moirangthem.
The approval by Prime Minister Narendra Modi, comes as a direct response to Dr Ranjan's appeal conveyed in a letter dated January 1.The allocated funds are specifically designated to cover the expenses associated with Swasteeka's surgery and subsequent treatment, underscoring the government's commitment to providing timely and effective assistance to those in need.
The grant was promptly transferred to the account of the hospital concerned.
Dr RK Ranjan's efforts have resulted in numerous similar cases receiving expedited assistance from the Government of India, thereby providing immediate relief to individuals and their families grappling with healthcare challenges.
