Dr Kshetrimayum Silpa joins Shija

Shija Hospitals & Research Institute (SHRI) announced joining of Dr Kshetrimayum Silpa, MD (Respiratory Medicine), DM (Critical Care), as consultant in Critical Care Department.
Informing that Dr Silpa is the first critical care physician with super-specialty DM (Critical care), a SHRI release elaborated that Critical Care represents the highest level of patient care and treatment designated for critically ill patients with potentially recoverable life-threatening conditions, which usually takes place in an Intensive Care Unit (ICU).
A team of specially-trained health care-givers provides care round the clock.
This includes using advanced medical equipment to continuously monitor vital signs and provide necessary support systems as well as counseling patient's attendants.
The dedicated team of critical caregivers provides intensive care for a spectrum of conditions, encompassing severe burns, heart attacks, strokes, kidney failure, respiratory failure, shock, severe bleeding, serious infections, and traumatic injuries from vehicular crashes, falls, and shootings, the release said, adding that Shija is equipped with 64 Critical Care Beds, 24X7 services, Blood Bank, NABL Diagnostic Centre and Emergency and Trauma Care with broad and super-specialist for comprehensive care.
