RIMS programme on Breast Cancer draws to a close
Free screening facility benefits many

Imphal, October 31 2023:
The Department of Radiation Oncology, RIMS successfully concluded the 2-week long awareness and screening programme on breast cancer today.
The programme, organized in collaboration with the Radiodiagnosis Department and Pathology Department, RIMS commenced on October 18 .
Dr Y Sobita Devi, Professor and Head; Dr AK Sunita Devi, Assistant Professor and Dr A Ronibala Devi, Senior Resident of the Department of Radiation Oncology, RIMS delivered speeches on breast cancer.
The speakers stressed on the importance of screening and risk factors for development of breast cancer.

More than 250 people attended the programme and received the benefits of free breast screening facilities.
As part of the same programme, the Department of Radiation Oncology, RIMS in collaboration with S Kula Women's College, Nambol organized a one day awareness programme on breast cancer at the conference hall of the college on October 26 .
