JAC serves Nov 5 deadline, warns of agitation

A public meeting held Tuesday near the residence of deceased police officer Anandkumar at Kwakeithel formed a Joint Action Committee (JAC) against the killing of Ch Anandkumar (SDPO Moreh) by Chin-Kuki-Narco-Terrorist and put up five demands to the government.
The JAC also served an ultimatum of November 5 for the government to fulfil all the demands and warned of launching intense stir including storming of residences of ministers/MLAs if government fails to honour the demands within the stipulated time.
According to a statement of the JAC, a public meeting held Tuesday at Youth Development Club cum Mina Library, Kwakeithel Laishram Leikai, Moirang Purel Makha formed Joint Action Committee (JAC) against the killing of Ch Anandkumar (SDPO Moreh) by Chin-Kuki Narco-Terrorist.
While considering that SDPO Moreh Ch Anandkumar was killed in a conspiracy by the Narco-Terrorist, the JAC arrived at several resolutions and the first one being issuance of order to state force to launch counter offensive against Chin-Kuki Narco-Terrorist by deploying adequate force.
Another resolution called for booking and punishment of groups, CSOs and student organisations supporting Chin-Kuki Narco-Terrorist and filing of FIR against groups, CSOs and organisations supporting Chin-Kuki-Narco-Terrorist and declared them wanted.
The other resolutions included government of Manipur making public declaration that the ongoing war on Meetei by Chin-Kuki Narco-Terrorist since May 3 shall be put to end at the earliest with steps taken by the government particularly in Moreh, national highway passing through Kangpokpi and in Churachandpur district.
The JAC then set an ultimatum to the government till November 5 to fulfil the aofremented demands and warned that intense agitations with the people will be launched in case of failure to honour the demands.
The other demand the JAC included suitable government job to deceased Anandkumar's family and appointment order for the same be issued before the ritual ceremony of the late police officer.
The JAC statement further said that deceased Anankumar's family will claim his body and perform rituals once the chief minister aimounces positive action on the demands through the media.
