Stranded Cdos finally reach Moreh

State police who have been camping at Assam Rifles post at Kondong Lairembi since October 14 due to the obstruction in their movement by a large number of Kuki women have reached Moreh today.
It is reported that the police had a heated argument with the personnel of Rapid Action Force (RAF) near the Key Location Point (KLP) camp while heading towards the border town at around 12.30 pm.
One of the commando personnel who has reached Moreh said that 27 personnel of State commandos and IRB have been camping at 5 Assam Rifles camp due to the blockade by Kuki women along Imphal-Moreh road at Tengnoupal.
Saying that they moved out from the AR camp on foot following the killing of senior police officer Chingtham Anand Kumar who was Moreh SDPO, he said that RAF personnel, unfortunately, didn't do anything to disperse the Kuki women who were opposed to the deployment of State police at Moreh.
The RAF personnel casually responded that they didn't get any order to drive away the Kuki women, he said and added that a heated argument broke out after the RAF team tried to stop the police from dispersing the Kuki women themselves.
He said that they all have reached Moreh after dispersing the protesters.
Saying that the 27 personnel have been separated into different groups and are stationed at different places such as Moreh police station, SBI Moreh branch etc, the commando personnel continued that they have also taken part in the search operations to find the hideouts of the militants.
