LS poll crucial for country, state: Th Basanta Kumar

BJP candidate in the Inner Manipur parliamentary constituency for the 18th Lok Sabha election Th Basanta Kumar has said that the Congress candidate, if happens to be elected in the upcoming election, will be kicked out from the Parliament when raises voice and made criticism.
Addressing gathering at the 44th Foundation Day celebration of BJP at the residence of former Ksherigao MLA N Indrajit on Saturday, Th Basanta Kumar said thar the upcoming Lok Sabha election is very crucial for both the country and the state and accordingly people should think wisely and choose their right representative.
He said that Congress candidate Bimol Akoijam had never shared pains and grief of the people except teaching students in class rooms and talking at some seminars.
Bimol Akoijam talked of saving Manipur sometimes through microphone but he lacks experience in the field of politics.
Even if the people elect the Congress candidate in the upcoming, Bimol Akoijam could not raise voice or made criticism as there are rule of procedure and he will kick out frpm the Parliament, Basanta Kumar said, adding that resolution to the crisis in Manipur will have to brought by those having political experience with BJP leaders who are sure to form the next government.
According to Th Basanta Kumar, an MP needs to fully conversant with functions of Parliament and nothing will happen by criticising the Prime Minister or the Union home minister.
He also claimed having knowledge on activities and policies of dn MP through his father who served as MP in the past for three terms.
Th Basanta Kumar also revealed that bringing peace and normalcy in Manipur, rehabilitation of displaced people and taking up special schemes to give employment to 6-7 lakh unemployed youth of the state will be three important things he will take as priority if elected in the upcoming election.
Former Ksherigao MLA N Indrajit, in his speech at the event, said that people expressed their anger against chief minister N Biren Singh in the present crisis but in reality, it was due to CM Biren that Manipur remains intact.
