Archana, Puhenba selected for fellowship under IAS

Two executive members of MitSna, a registered non-profit organisation based in Manipur dedicated to promoting quality education, have been selected for the prestigious Summer Research Fellowship under the Indian Academy of Sciences (IAS) .
According to a release issued by MitSna, Archana Hijam and Brahmacharimayum Puhenba Sharma, who are currently serving as the Communications Officer and Outreach Officer respectively in MitSna, were selected for the fellowship.
Archana Hijam got selected for Summer Research Fellowship Program 2024 in Life Sciences discipline.
She will carry out the internship at Sher-e-Kashmir University of Agricultural Sciences and Technology, Kashmir.
Puhenba Sharma was selected for Focus Area Science and Technology Summer Fellowship 2024 in the discipline of Physics and will be carrying out his research at Indian Institute of Science, Bangalore.
The internships under IAS comprising the three academies of science in India namely Indian Academy of Sciences, Bengaluru, Indian National Science Academy, New Delhi and National Academy of Sciences.
India, Prayagraj are considered competitive with rigorous selection criteria.
IAS offers several twomonth Summer Fellowships to enable students/teachers in India to work with scientists associated with the three institutions.
Students and teachers from all the universities and colleges affiliated to UGC/AICTE/MCI/Accredited Institutions/Private Universities can apply for these fellowships.
