Manipuri woman reads poetry in House of Lords

Imphal, April 06 2024:
In a first, Leina Moirangthem from Manipur has read a poetry in the House of Lords in the UK.
Poetry, songs, dances and cultural shows of South East Asian communities were performed in the event, held as part of UNESCO's World Poetry Day.
Leina Moirangthem, presently staying at UK's Midlands, is trained in Opera and a multi-instrumentalist.
