Y Rohit scored twice as the Chingmeirong team routed ten-man DM RAO, Sekmai 4-0 today in their penultimate Group stage match today at Artificial Turf, Lamlong Thongkhong.

The campaign for the Chingmeirong outfit became smoother with the expulsion of Naresh of DM RAO in the 53rd minute.
Although DM RAO held their fort tight for a while, Y Rohit broke through to double the lead in the 71st minute before Y Langamba of DM RAO fumbled and netted into his own net to make it 3-0 in CFA's favour after 76 minutes.
Despite the huge lead, CFA continued to press hard the hapless Sekmai defence and Y Rohit completed his double two minutes into the stoppage time and the 4-0 rout.
AIM, Khabam and AMOFA, Moirang from the same group had earlier played out a 1-1 draw.
N Michel was first to score in the 30th minute to give AIM the headway before AMOFA had the gap closed in the 44th minute via H Johnson.
Despite several attempts in the second half, the two teams failed to earn the winner and eventually ended up sharing the spoils.
The slightly tense game also saw Kh Jacky of AIM and Kh Sunil of AIM pick up direct reds for their misconduct at the fag end of the match rendering the two sides close out the game as 10-man teams.
Meanwhile in the last Group D league match, F4C, Saikul edged past YPHU 2-1 to climb atop Group table and qualify for the quarter final round of the tournament.
YPHU had taken the lead in the first half courtesy M Manisana goal in the 28th minute but Ngulgoulal pulled level in the 55th minute.
It was an end to end affair as the two sides kept searching for the winner but the Saikul team emerged the luckier side as Ngulgoulal managed to convert a last ditch effort during the stoppage time (90+3') .
