Imphal, February 21 2022:
Unknown miscreants reportedly opened several rounds of fire at the office of New Vision Organisation, Yairipok Top Chingtha under Andro AC around 1.30 am on Monday.
Speaking to newspersons, New Vision secretary Khoirom Kenedy recounted that unknown persons, who came in a black colour Baleno car and armed with an AK rifle, opened fire in wee hours of Monday.
Condemning the incident, Kenedy informed that a Horse Riding Training camp is currently being organised in the premises and the players are staying there as well.
Many state-level Polo players are also participating in the ongoing camp.
NPP candidate Lourembam Sanjoy had extended assistance to the camp in the form of food and firewood.
This is not related to politics; he contended and urged all not to create fear among the players "The Organisation is not related to any political party," he said, while questioning who will be held responsible if the players, many of whom are young in age, were to get injured.
