Assam Rifles provides aid to snake bite victim

Bishnupur, November 01 2022:
Loktak Battalion under the aegis of HQ IGAR (South) extended life saving medical assistance to a snake bite victim of Nachou village, Bishnupur district yesterday.
A 7 year old male child Master Thomas was bitten by a snake on his right ankle was brought by his father to the Unit Hospital of Loktak Battalion of Assam Rifles at around 11.30 pm yesterday, said a statement by Assam Rifles.
He had minimal local swelling and pain due to the snake bite.
The Medical staff examined and immediately rendered essential medical care and stabilized his condition, added the statement.
