ICOP on AKAM held at GP College

Imphal, November 03 2022:
A one day Integrated Communication and Outreach Programme (ICOP) on Azadi Ka Amrit Mahotsav, 8 years of Seva, Sushasan, Garib Kalyan and Vision 2047 was organised by Central Bureau of Communication (CBC), Regional Office, Imphal at GP Women's College.
The event was attended by GP Women's College principal Dr Rajkumari Tamphasana, who is also the dean of School of Social Sciences, Dhanamanjuri University; CBC Imphal head Aribam Ibomcha Sharma and GP College History department head Dina Serto as the chief guest, president and guest of honour respectively.
According to programme -in-charge Thokchom Anthony, GP Women's College assistant professor (History) N Malemsanba Meetei highlighted the contributions of women in India's freedom struggle, impact of Nupilal, 1939 in Manipur and other relevant issues.
Later, students were urged to download and play mobile game Azadi Quest where unsung heroes of India's freedom struggle are found.
An on the spot quiz contest was also organised and prizes distributed to the winners and participants.
Private Registered Troupe (PRT) of CBC, RO, Imphal namely M/s Nokphade Cultural Foundation, presented a theme based drama called 'Khangminasi Eikhoi' .
