Minister Nemcha inspects Manitex 2022 venue

Textiles, Commerce & Industry minister Nemcha Kipgen on Thursday inspected the venue and stalls being constructed for the upcoming 'Manipur International Textile Expo' (MANITEX), 2022 edition scheduled from November 5 to 15 at Urban Haat, Nilakuthi.
The minister was accompanied by Manipur Industrial Development Corporation (MANIDCO) chairman Kongkham Robindro Singh during the inspection.
While interacting with officials of the Directorate of Handloom & Handicrafts during the visit, Nemcha sought their cooperation and dedication for success of this year's edition of MANITEX, which will have 124 stalls including 10 international stalls and 10 from other states of the country.
MANITEX's main objective is to showcase all products of handlooms, handicrafts, dyeing & printing, power loom, garment, embroidery and costume in large scale with participation of different states and countries in the MANITEX.
The fair also aims to groom export potential entrepreneurs of textile material and develop a road map for inclusive development of the textile industry in Manipur.
