PREPAK observes Martyrs' Day

Imphal, November 12 2022:
The proscribed People's Revolutionary Party of Kangleipak (PREPAK) reportedly observed Martyrs' Day, also known locally as Athoubasingi Ningsing Numit, on Saturday at different places with active participation of people of both hills and valley.
According to a PREPAK statement, Martyrs' Day observance was marked with lighting of candles at residential gates of every household and offering of floral tributes at the memorials of martyrs who laid down their lives during the course of revolutionary movement to restore sovereign status of Kangleipak (Manipur).
The PREPAK statement issued by its publicity officer Mangai Khuman said that Martyrs' Day observance functions were held successfully at party's central headquarters (CHQ), general headquarters of Red Army, 701 battalion, 707 battalion, tactical headquarters (THQ), base areas, transit camps and training centres, wherein party's flag was lowered at half-mast, two minutes' silence observed and gun salute offered to the martyrs.
While extending its sincere gratitude to all the people who lighted candles at their residential gates and memorial places of martyrs, PREPAK said that it will continue to fight against 'imperialist' India till achieving Red Army's goal of a sovereign, developed and egalitarian society.
