Team of MSC/CPI to attend 24th National Congress of CPI

Imphal, October 13 2022:
A team of Manipur State Council, Communist Party of India (MSC/CPI) led by State secretary Leishangthem Thoi left Imphal for Vijayawada, Andhra Pradesh on October 12 to attend the 24th National Congress of CPI.
According to a statement, this team comprises of two State assistant secretaries, M Joykumar Luwang, N Singhajit, Th Sakhi Devi, member of National Control Commission, S Memsana, member of Nupi Marup, minority leader Md Badruddin, M Somorjit, National vice-president, All India Youth Federation, SM Sanasam, reporter of Khollao and Md Islauddin among others.
Former State secretary of MSC/CPI L Sotinkumar has also left for Vijayawada today to attend the five day congress slated to be held from October 14 to 18 .
Meanwhile Dr M Nara is reported to leave soon.
The statement also noted that before leaving, State secretary Leishangthem Thoi shared that the team will present issues pertaining to the territorial integrity of Manipur, the deteriorating economy and other problems at the congress.
It is worth mentioning that the 24th National Congress will be held at SS Convention Hall located along Bandar Road in Vijayawada, Andhra Pradesh.
The first day of the congress will kick off with a mass rally.
The congress which is held every three years will see participation of delegates from all 28 states and 9 UTs of India, the statement added.
