Highlighting the responsibilities for first aid providers, the Master Trainers informed that the Good Samaritan guidelines offered legal protection to people who provide assistance to accidents and other injured victims in need of help.
For fear of legal prosecution, people have been reluctant to help strangers in need, they added.
The Master Trainers also cautioned against compromising and endangering one's own safety before administering first aid to any victim in need.
Chairman, members and volunteers of IRCS Bishnupur Branch were also present in the training.
