PM to interact with students on April 1

Imphal, March 29 2022:
Union Education Minister Dharmendra Pradhan has stated that Prime Minister Narendra Modi will be interacting with students, teachers and parents all over the world during the 5th edition of Pariksha Pe Charcha on April 1 .
It may be noted that Pariksha Pe Charcha is a much-awaited annual event in which the Prime Minister will respond to questions related to examination stress and related areas posed by students in his uniquely engaging style in a live programme.
He added that the 5th edition of PPC will be held in Talkatora Stadium, New Delhi in a town-hall interactive format at 11 am, which will be participated by crores of students, teachers and parents from India and abroad.
The Minister also outlined the importance of this year's PPC in the wake of the country coming out of the COVID-19 pandemic and exams shifting back to offline mode and termed PPC as a public movement.
He informed that selected students across the country will visit the respective Raj Bhawans to watch the event in the presence of the State Governors.
He also expressed confidence that State Governments will encourage the participation of students, teachers and parents.
The Minister mentioned that PPC will not only be streamed in India but also in other countries, reaching out to the Indian diaspora.
He called for support from the media in making this program a mass movement and ensuring stress-free exams for the students.
The Union Education Minister highlighted that PPC is part of the larger movement 'Exam Warriors' led by Prime Minister Narendra Modi.
Minister Dharmendra Pradhan also informed that the students who will get to ask questions to the PM have been shortlisted on the basis of an online creative writing competition organised from December 28, 2021 till February 3, 2022 through MyGov platform.
These selected participants will be presented with a certificate of appreciation and a special PPC kit comprising of Exam Warriors book written by the PM, he stated.
It is worth mentioning that this event has been successfully organised for the last four years by the Department of School Education & Literacy, Ministry of Education.
The first three editions of PPC were held in New Delhi in a town-hall interactive format.
Due to COVID-19 pandemic the fourth edition was held online.
The event will be telecasted live on Doordarshan (DD National, DD News, DD India), radio channels, TV channels, digital media including Youtube channels of EduMinofIndia, narendramodi, pmoindia, pibindia, Doordarshan National, MyGovIndia, DDNews, RajyaSabha TV and Swayam Prabha.
Separately, Principal JNV Bishnupur, being a Nodal Officer of Pariksha Pe Charcha 2022 for Bishnupur district has appealed to all students, teachers and parents of Bishnupur district to witness the programme for the benefit of the younger generation.
