RIMS organises Swachhta health camps

Continuing its commitment to community health, Regional Institute of Medical Sciences (RIMS), Imphal, organised a Swachhta Health Camp at Ratankumar Memorial School, Kwakeithel Heinoukhongnembi, here, on Monday.
Founder & chairman of RM School, Dr Kwairakpam Hillary, expressed appreciation to the RIMS director, and MS for organising the camp and providing free medical services and medicines to the school children.
A total of 297 students benefited from the camp, which saw participation of doctors of various departments of RIMS Hospital, along with nursing officials, pharmacists, and staff.
Additionally, RIMS conducted another free health camp at Seijang Mayai Leikai and Sabungkhok Khunou of Imphal East district on Sunday.
Specialist doctors from departments such as Medicine, ENT, Ophthalmology, Obstetrics & Gynaecology, Dermatology, Clinical Psychology, Orthopaedics, and Paediatrics provided treatment and health counselling to displaced individuals.
Free distribution of medicines further supplemented the relief efforts.
