RIMS organises Swachhta Health Camp

Regional Institute of Medical Sciences (RIMS), Imphal on Monday organised a Swachhta Health Camp at Ratankumar Memorial School, Kwakeithel Heinoukhongnembi, Imphal East district.
Around 297 students were examined for various healthcare concerns during the health camp by a medical team of RIMS Imphal, said a release issued by RIMS.
The medical team consisted of doctors from the Department of Medicine, ENT, Paediatrics, Orthopaedics, Clinical Psychology, Obst & Gynaecology, Ophthalmology; nursing officials, pharmacist and staff of RIMS, Imphal.
At the event, Dr Kwairakpam Hillary Singh, founder & chairman of RM School conveyed his appreciation to the Director and Medical Superintendent of RIMS Imphal for organising the free health camp at the school.
He also appreciated the RIMS Medical Team for providing free medical care and advising students to adopt a healthy lifestyle.
Meanwhile, RIMS Imphal also conducted a free health camp at Seijang Mayai Leikai and Sabungkhok Khunou of Imphal East district on Sunday.
A team of specialist doctors from various departments of RIMS Imphal provided treatment and counselling along with medicines to internally displaced people during the camp.
