Imphal, March 18 2024:
The Staff Selection Commission (SSC) has announced withdrawal of the final results for the Constable (GD) in Central Armed Police Forces (CAPFs), SSF, Rifleman (GD) in Assam Rifles, and Sepoy in Narcotics Control Bureau Examination, 2022' for the state of Manipur.
The results, initially published on March 15, have been retracted due to an inadvertent oversight.
In a notification issued Monday, the SSC informed that owing to the prevailing law-and-order situation in Manipur, the physical and medical tests for candidates from the state were conducted in multiple phases.
Unfortunately, during the processing of the Results dated March 15, 2024, data pertaining to one phase was inadvertently missed out.
In light of this oversight, the SSC has deemed the final results published on March 15 as withdrawn, mentioned the notification, adding that the commission will ensure that a revised final result, incorporating complete data of candidates from Manipur, will be published shortly.
The final results published on March 15 drew flaks from different sections of the society as the results had only around half of the vacant posts notified for the state.
Moreover, there were no candidates from the unreserved and OBC community in the March 15 results.
