BJP submits manifesto suggestion to Central leaders

BJP Manipur Pradesh manifesto sub-committee has submitted suggestions received from district units and Mandals to the party's national leaders for consideration in the party's manifesto for the Lok Sabha election 2024.The suggestions were formally handed over to BJP national general secretary (in-charge of Manifesto) Tarun Chug, at the BJP headquarters in New Delhi on Monday by BJP Manipur Pradesh spokesperson M Asnikumar and MLA RK Imo.
Highlighting the significance of the initiative, Asnikumar said that the aspirations of Manipur's people lie at the core of the party's manifesto-building process.
He reiterated the commitment to ensuring that every citizen's voice and concerns are acknowledged and integrated into the party's vision for the state's future.
Aligned with the BJP's nationwide programme, "Your Vision, Your Dream, Your Manifesto," the endeavour seeks to gather the aspirations of the people for incorporation into the party's manifesto for the upcoming Lok Sabha Elections 2024.The suggestions reflect the aspiration and concerns of the state residents, offering valuable insight into their vision for a promising future.
A 23-member manifesto sub-committee curated the suggestion before handing them over to the party's national leadership, he said.
BJP Manipur Pradesh reaffirms its commitment to assimilating the voices and aspirations of the people into its roadmap for the state's progress and advancement.
Through this inclusive approach, the party aims to craft a manifesto that resonates with the dreams and aspirations of every citizen, ensuring a future characterised by prosperity and development for the state, he added.
Meanwhile, subsequent to announcement of schedules for the Lok Sabha-2024 elections, BJP Manipur Pradesh stepped up preparedness for the polls and convened state election management committee meet on Monday.
The meeting chaired by president A Sharda was also attended by committee convener K Saratkumar, Inner Manipur parliamentary constituency in-charge MK Preshow Shimray and representatives of 31 sub-committees formed for the election.
On the other hand, A Sharda Devi met Governor Anusuiya Uikey on Monday at Raj Bhavan.
Though minutes of their meeting could not be ascertained sources speculated that the upcoming elections could be central point of their discussion.
