TKLI condemns abduction of teen

Imphal, January 31 2024: The Tangkhul Katamnao Long Imphal (TKLI) has strongly condemned the deplorable act of abduction of Tamreingam Shithung s/o Chingmi Shithung of Bungpa Khullen at Mantripukhri, Imphal by unknown miscreants on January 29 .

A statement issued by Mathotmi Kasar, president TKLI and Sp Sokatung, general secretary TKLI has asserted that the heinous abduction in broad daylight violates the very fabric of society.

Denouncing the act, TKLI has extended their deepest sympathies to the victim and the family during this sorrowful ordeal.

It has further appealed to the law enforcement agencies to swiftly and rigorously pursue all avenues of investigation to ensure the safety of the victim's family and bring those involved to justice.

TKLI has also urged the people in the State to refrain from such inhumane acts in future but instead to spread love, peace and harmony.
