KYKL condoles demise of captain Dhana

Informing people about the sudden and untimely demise of captain Dhana of outfit's armed wing Meeyamgee Yawol Lanmee (MYL), the proscribed Kanglei Yawol Kanna Lup (KYKL) has deeply mourned demise of the MYL fighter and shared pain and grief of the bereaved family.
According to a KYKL statement issued by its publicity and research secretary A Yaiphaba, captain Samjetsabam Shamun-gou Meitei alias Dhana (49), son of (late) Samjetsabam Babuhal Meitei and (late) Leikham Leima of Thinungei Mamang Leikai Ward No 9 breathed his last on January 26.Remembering captain Dhana as a complete revolutionary with exemplary courage, patriotic, intelligent and highly disciplined, the KYKL statement said that Dhana took part in several offensives launched by the outfit against Indian armed forces in the course of the movement to restore the lost sovereignty of Kangleipak (Manipur) .
There is no cadre in MYL other than captain Dhana who could chalk out war strategies very efficiently and successfully, the KYKL statement said, adding that the void left by captain Dhana will be hard to fill.
