KV Akampat shines in Veer Gatha 3.0

Imphal, January 31 2024:
Two students of Kendriya Vidyalaya Akampat, Khurai Lamlong Bazar, Devdutta Thiyam (Class 9) and Tushta Thiyam (Class 5) were recently honoured by the Union Defence Minister, Rajnath Singh and Union Education Minister Dharmendra Pradhan.
The two students were awarded a gold medal, certificate and cash award of Rs 10,000 each in a ceremony held on January 25, 2024 at Delhi, said a release issued by KV Akampat.
Devdutta Thiyam and Tushta Thiyam along with their parents, were also invited as special guests in the 75th Republic Day parade held in the national capital.
Notably, Devdutta Thiyam and Tushta Thiyam were selected as part of the 'Super- 100' students selected from pan India.
About 13.5 million students from 2.5 lakh schools participated in the Project Veer Gatha 3.0 competition conducted in the field of painting, essay writing, poem writing and making short videos by the Ministry of Defence, Government of India.
Devdutta and Tushta got selected for painting.
Kendriya Vidyalaya Akampat also felicitated the two achievers in the morning assembly.
The Vidyalaya family wished them all the very best in their future endeavours.
