Manipur bag 7 more medals at National Classic Powerlifting Championship

Manipur added seven medals including two gold on the fourth day of the National Classic Powerlifting Championship 2022 at Alappuzha, Kerala.
The top finishers in the Wednesday's competition were Th Subadani Devi and Lena Salam.
Subadani won the gold medal in the 63kg master 4 category by lifting a total of 65kg in squat (40kg) and bench press (25kg), while Lena claimed the top podium honours in the 84kg master 3 category.
She lifted 160kg - squat (50kg), bench press (37.5kg) and deadlift (72.5kg).On the other hand, Y Dhyan Singh bagged silver medal in 83kg master 2 (bench press-80kg) and Th Nalini Devi claimed silver in 69kg master 3 (squat-40kg, bench press 25kg & deadlift-60kg) .
Also, L Modhubala Devi settled for silver medal in 84kg master 3 (squat-40kg, bench press-25kg & deadlift-65kg).A Memchoubi Devi took bronze medal in 69kg master 3 (squat-25kg, bench press-22.5kg & deadlift-50kg) as S Thoibi Devi bagged bronze in 63kg master 2 (squat-35kg;, bench press-25kg & deadlift-50kg).The fourth day's result took Manipur's medal count to 24 (8 gold, 8 silver & 8 bronze) .
