The Revolutionary People's Front (RPF) has expressed gratitude to all the people who despite their busy schedule took out time to pay tribute to the martyrs on the occasion of "Martyrs' Day" today at various places including Cheiraoching.
Roben Khuman, deputy secretary, Publicity, RPF, said this in a statement issued today and also expressed gratitude to the media fraternity, members of transport association, and medical personnel.
RPF also expressed gratitude to personnel of Manipur police and traffic control police who performed their duties and offered no hindrance to the public in offering tribute at memorial sites of martyrs located across the State.
Martyrs' Day was also observed at RPF headquarters, council headquarters, PLA general headquarters, tactical command, strategic command, 252 mobile battalion and other units wherein floral tributes were paid to the martyrs.
