Imphal, April 13 2022:
On the occasion of its 42nd raising day, the proscribed Kangleipak Communist Party (KCP) has extended revolutionary greetings and expressed heartfelt gratitude to the people for their never-ending support to the party.
According to a KCP statement issued by its Politburo Standing Committee chairman Ibungo Ngangom, it was established 42 years back with the two fold mission of liberating Kangleipak (Manipur) from the colonial yoke of India and establishing a communist nation through the path of scientific socialism.
During its 42 years of revolutionary journey, KCP encountered numerous challenges, most of which have been surmounted with blessings of the people and the courage, conviction and sacrifices of party's comrades.
The KCP statement further said the long-running armed struggle for literatian of Kangleipak is getting tougher as the overall might of the occupying country keeps on rising on the back of its economic performance in the post-liberalization period.
But that does not mean that Kanglei people should or will give up their natural right to self-determination and the uphill struggle will continue till attainment of the goal, the KCP statement said.
According to KCP, it will continue to focus on the emerging issues of national consequences and also on ensuring that indigenous people of Kangleipak remain safe, secure and dominant in their own land in the face of a host of threats including continuous inflow of outsiders felicitated by communal, political and religio-demographic vested interests.
Apart from following strategy of violent repression, Government of India continues to deploy deceitful tactics for ensuring a complete Indianization of Kangleipak and it would be impossible for the people of Kangleipak to rise as a sovereign nation again once the Indianization process completes.
Introduction of Hindutva ideology and its aggressive propaganda in Kangleipak and the region can also be seen in that light.
Extension of rail connectivity up to central valley of Kangleipak is also another example.
The Government of India and its local political puppets have systematically highlighted only the economic advantages that the rail connectivity will bring to the region while its adverse socio-economic implications for the indigenous people of Kangleipak are swept under the carpet.
Indeed, this rail connectivity project is a forward move in India's long term strategic scheme of things vis-a-vis the Western South East Asia, the KCP statement said and appealed to people of Kangleipak to always remain vigilant of the sinister designs of the enemy.
