Independence Day Cup tournament begins at Moreh

Moreh, August 05 2022: 5 Assam Rifles Moreh and Moreh Youth Club have joined hands in organising Independence Day Cup Football Tournament at Galngam Lentoul Ground in connection with 75th Independence Day celebration of the country.

The opening ceremony of the tournament was attended by former chairman of ADC Chandel, Lukhosei Zou; ADC Chandel member Cecilia Haokip; 5 Assam Rifles' town Commander Major Mahesh; Moreh Youth Club president Philips K Khongsai among others.

The opening match of the tournament was played between Lendou FC and Ngulminlal Football Academy where Lendou FC emerged 3-2 winners.
