eSHRAM registration camp conducted

Bishnupur, August 05 2022:
In all 114 beneficiaries got registered during the two-day eSHRAM registration camp jointly organised by the Bishnupur district administration and Department of Information Technology (DIT), Bishnupur along with Common Service Centres (CSCs)/Village Level Entrepreneurs (VLEs).
On the first day of the camp at PRC Hall, DC Office Complex, 41 beneficiaries registered for eSHRAM followed by 73 on the second day.
Informatics officer and state in-charge Meena Langpoklakpam visited on the first day of the registration camp which was conducted under the joint supervision of District informatics officer Keisham Jayabati and officials of district administration.
eSHRAM has been developed by the Ministry of Labour & Employment for creating a National Database of Unorganised Workers (NDUW) and seeding with AADHAAR details such as number, mobile number linked and savings bank account number with IFSC code of the beneficiaries.
Beneficiaries can also self-register through the official link https://register.eshram.gov.in/#/user/self.
After registering, he/she will get accident insurance cover of Rs 2 lakh under Pradhan Mantri Suraksha Bima Yojana (PMSBY).
Any unorganised worker, who is a home based-worker, self-employed or a wage worker in the unorganised sector including a worker in the organised sector who is not a member of ESIC or EPFO or not a government employee may register in the eShram (NDUW) portal.
