India end U-17 Women's WC campaign with 0-5 loss to Brazil

Imphal, October 17 2022:
Hosts India ended their U-17 Women's World Cup campaign with a 0-5 loss in the hands of Brazil at Kalinga Stadium, Bhubaneswar today.
Gabriel Berchon opened the account today in the 11th minute for Brazil with a fine shot from close range connecting a well measured cross the right wing before Aline Gomes Amaros scored twice in the 40th and the 51st minutes.
Lara Dantas Ferreira dos Santos then fired home two screamers (86', 90+3') to set up the big win for Brazil.
It was third defeat for India in Group A competition having suffered 0-8 loss to USA and 0-3 loss to Morocco.
