CCpur, October 17 2022:
The Gangte Tribe Council has rapped the State Government for its indifferent attitude over the non-execution of a particular PMGSY road under Thanlon sub-division despite their repeated petitions to the authority concerned including the Chief Minister.
The PMGSY packages MN0-3010 (Part 1) and 3102 (Part 2) connecting Galkapkot and Gamhui were sanctioned back in 2014 but the work has not been executed till date.
And as if the delay were not enough, a completion report for these works was submitted in March 2020, said the GTC statement.
The Gangte Tribe Council had previously raised the issue before the press and the Government but to no avail.
On August 31 of this year, the GTC petitioned the Chief Minister informing him about the discrepancies.
Once again they have again made an open appeal to the Government calling it to redress the same saying that no positive action has been taken up to begin construction work.
The inaction of the government and the alleged claims of work completion has made the people in that part of the State doubtful about the sincerity of the Government, the statement added.
While drawing the attention of the Government, the GTC has stated that they will not remain silent on the grave injustice and will go on to any length until justice is delivered.
The statement further appealed to the concerned authority to physically inspect the condition of the road at the earliest.
