69 Bn CRPF conducts cleanliness drive

Imphal, October 17 2022:
69 Battalion CRPF carried out Swachata Campaign 2.0 in and around of its HQs Mantripukhri with effect from October 2 under the supervision of its commandant Bajrang Lal.
According to a release, the Battalion under special campaign selected 6 sites such as HIT, outside of old IOCL campus, front side of newly built capitol complex, IOCL marching point, Mantripukhri, ISBT complex and passage to Nepali Basti road which are in bad shape due to dumping of garbage by nearby civilians.
The Battalion personnel carried out the drive from October 2 till date and cleaned the aforementioned sites to create healthy living environment for the general public of the area.
The local public also joined hands in the cleanliness drive and appreciated the good work done by the Battalion.
69 Battalion CRPF apart from its operational commitments, is dedicated towards a healthy environment by declaring the camp as plastic free campus and by constantly keeping the surroundings neat and clean and also by campaigning against the use of plastic with a slogan "Say No To Plastic", the release added.
