IOCL begins sale of XP-100 petrol in state

Imphal, October 17 2022:
Indian Oil Corporation Limited (IOCL) has started selling Extra Premium (XP)-100 having high octane value in the state at BB & Co oil pump, Sangaiprou from Monday.
XP-100 has higher octane value than other types of petrol being used in the state and BB & Co is the first in the state to sell this type of petrol though IOCL had already begun sale of the newest type of petrol in other states.
XP-100 is considered as the best type of petrol ever sold in India and it will be sold at Rs 160 per litre in the state.
Octane value of XP-95 being used in the state at present is 95 and it costs Rs 106.02 per litre while normal petrol (BS 6) being sold in the state has octane value of 91 only.
Though the price of XP-100 is higher than other types of petrol, it gives numerous benefits to vehicles including more strength to anti-knock property, more acceleration and engine power.
XP-100 also reduces benzene and aromatic contents as well as carcinogenic emissions.
With the beginning of sale of XP-100 in the state, IOCL offers several benefits to customers who fill petrol till January 15, 2023 .
Two-wheeler rider who fills more than Rs 300 petrol and four-wheeler drivers who fill XP-100, XP-95 or Extragreen petrol worth more than Rs 1,000 will be assigned a number through ITPS, POS machine.
A draw of lots for these numbers will be held and winners given special prizes which include one Alto car, one I-phone 14, three bikes and three Lenovo laptops.
