The Alliance for Socialist Unity Kangleipak (ASUK) has described late Irengbam Chaoren, president Revolutionary People's Front (RPF) as an exceptional revolutionary leader.
Apart from offering revolutionary salute to the late revolutionary leader, the ASUK constituent members viz; KCP and KYKL have condoled the untimely demise of Irengbam Chaoren.
A press release issued by the ASUK Publicity Committee noted that Irengbam Chaoren held the post of CorCom Convenor multiple times in addition to being the president of RPF for more than 30 years.
Irengbam Chaoren was a top leader of the liberation movement of Kangleipak and a distinguished revolutionary leader of the entire WESEA, it remarked.
His demise is an irreparable loss for not only RPF and Kangleipak but also for WESEA, ASUK said.
Speaking from the experience of their association with Irengbam Chaoren when he was serving as the first Convenor of CorCom, the ASUK said that Irengbam Chaoren embodies many qualities and attributes which would be hard to emulate.
Chaoren was one revolutionary leader who was always cheerful and equally genial to young and old, leaders and followers alike.
Despite being the leader of a large group, Chaoren never showed an iota of egoistic demeanour.
In spite of his vast knowledge and expertise, no one could see the slightest hint of pride or arrogance in his personality, the ASUK said.
Irengbam Chaoren was always humble and polite and it seemed anger or bad temper was unknown to him, it remarked.
"We never heard Irengbam Chaoren speaking in a strong voice or using harsh words", the ASUK said.
The late revolutionary leader always spoke softly but whatever he said was highly logical.
Irengbam Chaoren was one leader who had thorough knowledge of the revolutionary principles and dynamics of Kangleipak, WESEA and the world, it remarked.
For the present generation, Irengbam Chaoren was a rare and glorious revolutionary leader and his legacy will grow brighter and brighter with the passage of time, it added.
