Interaction meet, medical camp conducted

Loktak Battalion of Inspector General Assam Rifles (South) on Monday conducted interaction and motivational lecture for students appearing in the NEET and presently studying at Assam Rifles Centre of Educational Excellence, Kangvai in Churachandpur district.
According to PRO IGAR (S), the students were briefed about role and composition of G-20 organisation and also made aware about assumption of G-20 presidency.
The students were also made aware about sequence of G-20 events in Manipur and importance of G-20 to world and Indian economy.
The lecture was followed by an interactive session in which queries raised by the students were answered.
A total of 30 girls are being trained for duration of one year for the upcoming exam.
Meanwhile, Khuga Battalion of IGAR (South) conducted a medical camp at Z Khunou village in Churachandpur district on Monday during which a total of 13 villagers were examined and essential medicines distributed to the needy people.
The villagers were also briefed about the importance of hygiene and sanitation in daily routine to avoid unwarranted diseases.
Special focus was given on educating the villagers on contagious diseases during winter season and ways to prevent them, the PRO said in another release.
