CM for showcasing best of state to G-20 delegates

Chief minister N Biren has urged the people of the state to showcase the best of Manipur to delegates of the G-20 countries and let them experience a beautiful and peaceful Manipur with warm hospitality.
The CM on Monday inspected the preparations being taken up at Sangai Ethnic Park, Moirang Khunou, where the state government will host the G20 events.
Biren informed that around 100 delegates including 50 foreign delegates would be attending the events in the state with City Convention Centre to host a business summit on February 17.Presenting a peaceful and resourceful image of the state to the participating delegates will help in attracting investment, which will further boost developmental activities in the state, said the chief minister.
While stating that preparations for the upcoming G-20 events are almost complete with the blessings of the people, the chief minister urged the people to showcase their best hospitality towards the visiting international delegates and to ensure that there are no disturbances like bandhs, blockades.
"Let us all show calm, peaceful and developing state to the visiting delegates so that they may want to set up businesses, establishments in the state," he added.
During the inspection visit, the chief minister was accompanied by tribal affairs & hills minister Letpao Haokip, education minister Th Basanta, Moirang MLA Thongam Shanti Singh, LDA chairman M Asnikumar, chief secretary, administrative secretaries, heads of departments, and DC and SP of Bishnupur among others.
