CRPF conducts Education Programme for womenfolk

Imphal, September 01 2022: Group Centre, CRPF organised an educational programme for the womenfolk during which Delhi High Court advocate Sonam Datta Mehta spoke on rights of women related to property, adultery, marriage, divorce law and issues related to women at its Langjing premises on Thursday.

In a release, CRPF Group Centre assistant commandant (Min) P Martin Raju informed that a certificate of appreciation was presented to Sonam Datta Mehta by DIG Madan Kumar for her well-conceived thought and articulation, which was very enlightening and appreciated by all participants.

RCWA chairman Sita Devi, while facilitating the function, stated that Family Law is perceived as realm of emotions and not as a bundle of Rights.

The programme was also attended by Sector RCWA head, all RCWA members and lady wives of officers and personnel, the release added.
