Noney, August 25 2022: Noney Battalion of 22 Sector Assam Rifles and Inspector General Assam Rifles (East) on Thursday distributed essential items to villagers of L Hengjol in Kangpokpi district in a humanitarian assistance drive.

In sync with the "Friends of the Hill People" motto, the essential commodities comprising food and other items were distributed to the residents of L Hengjol village with an endeavour to assist and help the needy families of the village to meet their daily needs.

Troops of COB Kotlen also used the opportunity to reach out to youth of Hengjol village and develop positive social connection.

A small lecture was also delivered to the youths participating in the drive to motivate them to pursue their studies and become honourable citizens of the nation.

The drive in addition to help the needy families also encouraged the youth to strive for the best towards their positive goals.
