Imphal, March 01 2023: Two retired MJS Grade-I judicial officers have been re-employed.

As per an order issued by Manipur High Court registrar general Golmei Gaiphulshillu on Wednesday, after approval of Manipur High Court and the Secretariat Law and Legislative Affairs Department, the two retired MJS Grade-I judicial officers have been re-employed.

Retired District and Sessions Judge Rajkumari Memcha Devi will take the charge of District and Sessions Judge, Imphal West from Additional District and Sessions Judge Manipur West; while retired District and Sessions Judge Waikhom Tonen will assume the charge of District and Sessions Judge, Imphal East from Additional District and Sessions Judge Manipur East Reena Serto.

The charge handing over and taking over processes are to be completed by March 13, the order stated.
