15 absentees asked to appear before medical board

Imphal, February 01 2022:
In all 15 government employees, including one each associate professor, headmaster and civil supply inspector, who were found absent/failed to turn up for the medical board held on January 31, have been instructed to appear before the same board at 11 am on February 7 at the Chandel DCs conference hall.
In a notification issued Tuesday by Chandel district election officer/DC M Rajkumar, the absentee employees shall have to appear before the board in person/relative/representative with proper documents to examine their application for exemption from election duty on medical ground.
No further claims for exemption will be considered for those who fail to before the board on February 7, cautioned the DEO.
The absentees also include one each AI, technical jugali and Grade IV, two chawkidar cum peon, and seven primary teachers.
