YWC crush KCDO as YUCC upstage KASC in MNCA U-16 boys' cricket

YWC inflicted a 316 run crushing defeat on KCDO as YUCC beat KASC by 5 wickets in Tuesday's fixtures of the 3rd MNCA U-16 Boys' Naorem Rajningthou Memorial Trophy.
Electing to bat, YWC set up a mammoth total of 371/ 3 with Pukhrambam Rohit Khuman leading from the front.
He dished out a remarkable performance, smashing 150 from 95 balls.
Rohit's total included 25 boundaries and 2 sixes.
Kangjam Thoithoiba (43/29) and Rickymenan Thokchom (43/43) also did well at crease.
Then it was up to the YWC bowling unit who delivered the tasks by bowling out KASC for 81 in 16.2 overs to record a comprehensive win for their side at ABA Ground, Khetrigao.
Yunnan Achouba finished with three scalps, Yumnam Athouba and Sorokhaibam Dailish picked up two wickets, and Seram Robinson and Yumnam Chingkheinganba took one each.
Earlier, YUCC notched up a five-wicket victory over KASC at Heinokpok playground, Kwakeithel.
KASC were all out for 81 as YUCC achieved the target in 15.3 overs.
Ningthoujam Rahulkumar was the pick of YUCC's bowlers.
Rahulkumar took 5 wickets in his six-over spell during which he bowled a maiden and conceded 14 runs.
Ningthoujam Kenedy did his bit with two wickets as Kh Lohitsun and Khumanthem Prakash accounted for a wicket each.
