Govt urged to address ML deficiencies

Imphal, August 22 2021:
Culture and Sports Association secretary Kh Bota Luwang has appealed to the state government to look into the dilapidated condition of Royal Academy of Law (RAL) .
According to a statement, the college was established on August 19, 1994 by the founder principal and localities.
In, December 2006, RAL was upgraded to a government aided college.
However, due to the absence of a governing body and a competent principal, the students have been unable to get education during the Covid-19 pandemic and have been remaining hapless.
Although requests have been made to the Higher Education Department for constituting a governing body of the college, no action has been taken up till date, the statement said.
Urging the department concerned to look into the matter and do the needful at the earliest, the secretary informed that the local clubs and Meira Paibi are ready to agitate to save the college and the academic life of the students.
