AR organises volleyball match at Tupul COB

Noney, August 22 2021:
Noney Battalion of Assam Rifles under the aegis of 22 Sector Assam Rifles and Inspector General of Assam Rifles (East) organised a friendly volleyball match under "Bharat Ka Amrut Ma-hotsav" at Tupul COB on Sunday.
The volleyball match was played between Youth Club of Charoi Hakotlong Part-II (CC-II) and AR troops with an aim to promote "Fit India Movement" under "Bharat Ka Amrut Mahotsav" and to spread awareness about the important of physical fitness and healthy living and to enhance the physical fitness and foster the spirit of sportsmanship amongst the local population.
Physical and mental fitness are both integral parts of the healthy lifestyle and they play crucial roles in overall development of an individual in all spheres of life.
The friendly volleyball match concluded with prize distribution to winning team Youth Club of Charoi Chakotlong Part -II (CC-II).
Refreshments were also provided to the participants.
During the entire event, COVID Appropriate Behavior was strictly adhered to.
