During the programme, the commandant and other officers of 86 Bn CRPF distributed water storage tanks and solar lamps to the villagers.
During similar civic action programmes held last year in villages, the commandant was requested by villagers of Joujangtek to provide a water storage tank and solar lamps as there is acute shortage of water during winter season specially when spring water flow from mountain gets dried and due to non availability of proper electricity in the village.
Based on the request of villagers, commandant Mohd Yusuf considered it prudent to provide water storage tank & solar lamps for benefit of the local villagers.
The commandant stated that security forces deployed in this region are dedicated not only for the security and safety of the local public but to fill the gap of inadequacy between public and government agencies.
The programme was also attended by second-in-command of the Battalion K Haopu.
Village chief & the villagers applauded such beneficial initiative of 86 Bn CRPF and extended their immense gratitude with the hope of many more similar beneficial events in coming future.
The programme concluded with the vote of thanks by village chief.
