Stop seeking votes by using Government machinery, urges AK Mirabai

AK Mirabai, MLA of Patsoi Assembly Constituency has urged the State Government to stop seeking votes in the name of 'Go to Village' by using Government machinery.
AK Mirabai made the above statement today at the inaugural function of the community hall at Khamnam Bazar Soyam Leirak which has been constructed from the funds of MLA Local Area Development Fund.
She alleged that BJP has been using Government machinery under the fold of Go to Village during election campaigns just to gain votes by going against the norms of Indian Constitution.
She further mentioned that in Go to Village programmes, stalls of Government departments are opened and are inaugurated under BJP flags which is not called for.

Hence she appealed to the Government to work earnestly for people's welfare setting aside political agendas.
Expressing concern over the activities of the BJP led Government, she maintained that the Government seems to be working to worsen the problems of the masses rather than alleviating it.
In this regard, she mentioned the various schemes initiated by the incumbent Government which have not been able to actualise its promises and benefits, exorbitant price hike of essential commodities which have added more woes to the people's problem and so on.
Enumerating the numerous developmental projects taken up in Patsoi AC during her tenure, she stated that 36 community halls have been constructed till date in addition to other developmental structures like waiting shed, market shed, sacred buildings etc She also gave assurance to provide drinking water to Patsoi AC by 2022.The MLA also informed that a political meet organised by Patsoi Block Congress Committee will be held on December 25 and on the occasion, she will present detailed information to the public regarding the works during her tenure and the future projects which are in pipeline.
