Karong Mandal holds virtual rally for BJP candidate

BJP, Karong Mandal organised a virtual election rally at Thingba Khunou (Shomai) village in Senapati district.
Speaking on the occasion, BJP Manipur Pradesh vice president Nimbus Nongthombam, who is also in-charge of Senapati district, urged all to elect the BJP candidate from Karong assembly constituency to bring peace and development in the region.
The state BJPvice president pointed that only 6 per cent of tap water facility was available in the state before 2017.However, the BJP-led state government provided 65 per cent of such facility and it aims to achieve a target of 95 per cent if the BJP retains power in the state.
A Jamir, national secretary, BJP Mahila, said that the party is all for development, and elaborated that different developmental projects had been taken up during the last 5 years under the BJP-led government in the state.
Jamir urged people of the region to support the BJP in order to bring development in the region.
Having seen different developmental projects and schemes implemented at-various levels, the Mahila national secretary also urged all to elect the BJP candidate as a sign of gratitude to the party.
R Yuh Jonathan Tao, BJP candidate for 47-Karong (ST) AC, expressed gratitude for ail the prayers that resulted in him being awarded the party ticket and sought the support of all in the coming polls.
The candidate assured of assisting in his maximum capacity to solve unemployment problem among the educated and qualified youth.
He said that opposition MLAs though elected cannot do much for the people and asserted that real development could come to the region if the elected representatives are from the ruling political party.
Only through the support of all could he accomplish the dream of bringing development in the region, he added.
